Hello everyone and Happy New Year!!!
It is hard to believe that a new year is beginning!
We had a very quiet Christmas in Ohio, with the family and an even quieter New Years Eve.
Dustin has been calling on a regular basis and is stationed in Al Muqdadiyah, Iraq at FOB Normandy, until the end of January. At that time, he will move to Ba'qubah, Iraq and at FOB Warhorse.
The pictures that you see here, are of my office space with two other girls, Tammy and Suzanne. We won 2nd place! Too bad, we thought that it was well worth 1st place! Anyway, it just felt good to do it for the kids in Iraq!
Happy Holidays to all of you! We hope that you all have a prosperous and healthy New Year. May you all make your dreams come true and many happy memories.

The time has come that Dustin is deployed! He left on Saturday, November 4th and called us from Bangor,ME., Germany, and finally Sunday night from Kuwait. He will remain there for about a month to get climatized and he is suppose to be shipped out to Tikrit. Originally, it was Ramadi, but that was changed. Who knows where he will end up. Please keep the prayers and support coming! We all appreciate it and know that he will come home safe.

Dustin's Return to Ft. Lewis, WA.

Well, here it is the day after we had to take Dustin to the airport and send him back to Ft. Lewis,WA. It was a sad day, yesterday, knowing that Dustin will be deployed to Ramadi, Iraq in October. We send all of our Love, Prayers and Support with him on his journey.
We held a Welcome Home Party for Dustin on Sept. 16th, asking all in attendance to bring one (1) item for our "Any Soldier" Box and we were overwhelmed with the items that people brought! There was over 150 people and we had a great time! I went on line to anysoldier.com and chose a group from Ft. Lewis, WA. to send boxes to in Dustin's Honor.

Thank You to all of you that came and supported our cause and Dustin, of course!

Gee....Sure has been along time since I was last on this site to update anything!!

Since the last time that I was on......Dustin had gone to Basic Training at Ft. Leonardwood, MO. and has been shipped to Ft. Lewis, WA. for his home base! He is a PFC. in the field of Military Police!

We are momentarily looking forward to his return home in Sept.and will enjoy his company before he is deployed to Iraq in October.

Denah, Jeremy, Gracie and Gunner are all well and healthy and happy. We are looking forward to Jer's Pig Roast at the end of Sept.

I lost my sister, Donna to cancer in October of 2005. That was very devastating and have since gotten back on track! It's hard to believe that it will be a year since she has be
en gone already! You will always be in our hearts, Donna! This was the last good photo that I had of her.

My other sister, Dee is battling Breast Cancer as I write this. She had finished her Chemo and is now doing Radiation Therapy. She is only in her second week of that. We KNOW that she will beat this, as determined as she is! We send all of our love and prayers to her and her family.
